Welcome to beautiful, historic Sackets Harbor and the five churches that comprise the Sackets Harbor Area Ecumenical Council.
Today each of our churches reaches into the life of the community around it, as well as into the larger world beyond Sackets Harbor. The diversity and creativity of ministry conducted by our five churches is a microcosm of the work of the Christian Church worldwide.
We encourage you to get to know us and to help us get to know you. We welcome you to our services of worship and weekday activities.
In the name of Jesus, the Christ, welcome!

The Episcopal Church of Sackets Harbor was organized in 1821 by Elisha Camp. Construction of the church was begun in 1823 on a lot donated by Frederick White and his wife Mary B. White. The cornerstone was laid with Masonic ceremonies. The building, completed in 1832, follows an early use of Gothic detailing with a square belfry over a Doric columned portico and Gothic arches, one of the first such uses in the North Country.

The Presbyterian Church of Sackets Harbor was organized in 1816. The present sanctuary, completed in 1900, boasts a restored tracker pipe organ and two Tiffany creations among the beautiful stained glass windows. The Tower houses a set of ten bells donated by Marietta Pickering Hay and the Village Clock. With music, the spoken word, and fellowship, we give inspiration to do God's will.
