Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 10:00 AM West Main Street The "39TH" CAN AM FESTIVAL will once again be held on Saturday, July 17 & 18th, 2010. Come and enjoy the huge parade at 11:00 am, shop at our greater than ever Craft Show and at our food vendors. The "Zipper", from Clayton Boat Museum will be giving rides, 12 - 6 pm. At 12:00 you can particpate in an old time "Cricket Game". Musical events throughout the day to include: Band Concerts, "RAY'S GANG", a live Band, then another live band, "FRED & THE EDS" performing in the evening on Saturday prior to the gigantic FIREWORKS! For children during the day on Saturday, Kite Fest, amusement rides, a Puppet Show, and a performance by Tom Anzalone, "The Song Flower Man. This will be the largest gathering of 1812 renactors in North America this year! An entire week-end of living history, interpreted by over 800 renactors from across the Eastern US and Canada. See demonstrations of 1812 camp life, civilian scenios, military drill, period dress, music, and games. Watch the canons roar and rockets glare in a spectcaular evening demonstration.
