Memorial Day Observances, Monday, May 26, 2008 at 8:00 AM, Sackets Harbor Battlefield State Historic Site... tribute to veterans ceremony at the American Legion Post. At 8:15 a wreath laying at the War of 1812 Centennial Monument at the Battlefield. Parade starts at 10:30 am from the Sackets School to Market Square Park. Echo taps will be played between Market Square Park and the State Battlefield.
